Public Relations and Communications Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for a Public Relations and Communications Coordinator with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience.  The role is based in our downtown Vancouver, B.C. office, where each day we ideate, collaborate and create, supported by a culturally diverse group of architectural professionals, in-house leading-edge technology including digital fabrication, virtual design and realization, and physical modelling. Our Vancouver team thrives on multi-disciplinary engagement while practicing at the intersection of architecture and urban design and are distinguished by our creative and intellectual curiosity. Across all of our communications work, starting from the strategic development of communications plans, to content creation, storytelling and more, we embrace our regional and firmwide goals as bellwethers for our work.

As ​PR & Communications Coordinator you are a creative, passionate and strategic thinker that will…

  • Research coverage and industry trends; monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, and blogs for opportunities.
  • Write and edit press releases, conference and award submissions, and other special writing projects.
  • Identify awards opportunities for on the boards and completed projects.
  • Promote news stories and features to the media.
  • Maintain strong relationships with editors, reporters, clients, and team members; serve as a liaison with the media.  
  • Support the execution of internal communications, developed by the firmwide Marketing team and all other marketing and communications initiatives as needed.
  • Capture, develop, and write bespoke marketing-related content and narratives for a variety of communication platforms
  • Communicate complex information and ideas through a variety of media – written, graphic, verbal, interactive
  • Exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and poise while working collaboratively and thinking strategically.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Above average proficiency in social media platforms and software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, self-schedule and be detail and deadline oriented while juggling multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Absolute understanding of market sectors and client relations.
